| | | | | | | | | Background: | Four proposals for Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) were received on January 12, 2022 in response to RFQ (NC21-032) for the CR108 Safety Improvements from Middle Road to US 17. The proposals were opened on January 13, 2022. The evaluation committee met on January 31, 2022 for the purpose of scoring and ranking the proposals for the CEI Services for the project. Each firm was evaluated by the individual evaluation committee member and then collectively scored and ranked by the full committee. AE Engineering was the highest-ranking firm, and it is recommended the Board of County Commissioners approve staff to negotiate a contract with AE Engineering for the CEI Services for CR 108 Safety Improvements from Middle Road to US 17.
