| | | | | | | | | Background: | In January 2022 the Board of County Commissioners approved a Local Agency Program Agreement (LAP) for the construction and Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) project management of safety improvements on River Road from CR 121 to US 1, Contract No. CM3117, in the amount of $203,016, which will be reimbursed to the County.
As a follow up to the LAP Agreement, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has sent a Construction & Maintenance Agreement for the improvements to River Road from CR 121 to US1, Contract No. CM3168. This agreement specifically states that the County will be responsible for maintenance of the improvements unless the agreement is terminated by FDOT in writing.
