| | | | | | | | | Background: | Engineering Services has received a General Appropriations Agreement (GAA) from Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) repairs and resurfacing of the southern portion of CR 121. FDOT is agreeing to a maximum participation of $9,000,000 for this project, which will be reimbursed to the County. The completion of this project is expected on or before December 31, 2025.
| | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Resolution authorizing the execution of the agreement between the State of Florida Department of Transportation and the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida regarding the design, inspection, and construction if repairs including resurfacing of the southern most portion of CR121. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | FDOT’s maximum participation is $9,000,000 which will be reimbursed to the County. These improvements are beneficial to the safety of Nassau County citizens. The appropriation, awarded during the 2021 Legislative Session is for one portion of CR121.
