Background:
In December 2019, Nassau County entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the Florida Governmental Utility Authority for water and wastewater utility capital project management, and related grant/loan administration and special assessment services. CM2786-WA15 is to allow the FGUA to assist the County in carrying out all Engineering inclusive of design, bidding and construction administration and Capital Project Administration services during the design and bidding phases of the Lift Station 27 Conversion Project.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign CM2786-WA15 with FGUA for Grant/Loan Administration & Special Assessment Services for the Nassau Amelia Utilities Lift Station 27 Conversion Project.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Nassau Amelia Utility is an enterprise fund, which is supported with utility user fees; general revenue is not impacted and no taxpayer funds will be used to complete this project.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign CM2786-WA15 with FGUA for Grant/Loan Administration & Special Assessment Services for the Nassau Amelia Utilities Lift Station 27 Conversion Project.
