Item Title:	Approve a Resolution Authorizing 25 MPH Speed Limit Signs to be Posted on Pirates Bluff Road

Background:
Pirates Bluff Road in Yulee was recently chip sealed, and the roadside ditches were grassed, as part of the Road Department’s annual chip seal program. With the recent improvements, the Road Department and the County Manager’s office has received complaints that drivers are now travelling at faster speeds along Pirates Bluff Road, and residents have asked for speed limit signs to be posted. The Road Department has determined that the road improvements will allow for sign placement on Pirates Bluff Road in accordance with State and Federal regulations, and Engineering Services staff recommend the speed limit to be posted at 25 mph.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the resolution establishing a 25 mph speed limit on Pirates Bluff Road in Yulee and authorize staff to post the 25 mph speed limit signs on Pirates Bluff Road.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
The cost to install the posted speed limit signs as well as future maintenance of the signs is minimal.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the resolution establishing a 25 mph speed limit on Pirates Bluff Road in Yulee and authorize staff to post the 25 mph speed limit signs on Pirates Bluff Road.
