Background:
Attached is the PRELIMINARY RATE RESOLUTION FOR THE SOUTH AMELIA ISLAND SHORE STABLIZATION MUNICIPAL SERVICE BENEFIT UNIT BEACH RENOURISHMENT MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT AREA. This Resolution provides for the estimated maintenance cost; confirms the method of assessing the maintenances costs against properties benefitting from proposed assessments; Confirms the method of assessing the maintenances cost that will be benefited therein; Directs the Assessment Coordinator to prepare the updated assessment roll; Establishes a Public Hearing Date to consider imposition of the maintenance assessments; and, directs the Notice requirements for consideration of the Preliminary Maintenance Assessment Resolution for the FY2022-23.
