Item Title:Amendments to State Revolving Fund Loan Agreements DW450510 and WW450500

Background:

The County has two FDEP State Revolving Loan Agreements, Number DW450510 in the amount of $231,500 and Number WW450500 in the amount of $518,500.  These loans are being used for the design portion of the drinking water and wastewater projects at the American Beach Water and Sewer District.  The design portion is now completed with remaining unused funds.  Accordingly, both loans DW450510 and WW450500 shall be reduced $53,079 and $91,507 for their unused portion, respectively.  As amended, the revised loan amounts total $178,421 for DW450510 and $426,993 for WW450500.

 

Note: The revised unforgiven amounts (loan amounts to be repaid) total $93,209.92  for DW450510 and $93,937.60 for WW450500.

Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the State Revolving Fund Amendment 2 to Loan Agreement DW450510 (CM3036-A2) and Loan Agreement WW450500 (CM3037-A2) with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the American Beach Water and Sewer conversion project.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Any unforgiven portions will be paid from eligible funds through the American Beach Water and Sewer District Fund.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the State Revolving Fund Amendment 2 to Loan Agreement DW450510 (CM3036-A2) and Loan Agreement WW450500 (CM3037-A2) with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the American Beach Water and Sewer conversion project.
