Background:

Mr. Heuland Simpson and Mr. Basil Paris are requesting a Reduction of Penalty for property purchased  as a tax deed sale on December 14, 2021.

September 12, 2006 the Code Enforcement Board motioned and seconded that Mozella J. Brown Estate, C/O Rhonda Register was in violation of:

  • Ordinance 2003-17, Section 2 - Abandoned refrigerators, iceboxes, & similar items
  • Ordinance 2003-17, Section 3 - Unserviceable vehicles
  • Ordinance 2003-17, Section 6.01 - General nuisance affecting public health
  • Ordinance 2003-17, Section 6.03 - Discard, place trash, litter or debris
  • Ordinance 2000-26, Section 1.6 - Maintenance of structure

The property came into compliance on February 22, 2022. The fine accrued for 5,610 days.
