| | | | | | | | | Background: | The Nassau County Sheriff's Office is seeking to expend $1,452.00 from the Crime Prevention Trust Fund for neighborhood signs to help discourage fast driving throughout the County. The signs will have a Sheriff's Badge and will state: "DRIVE LIKE YOUR KIDS LIVE HERE, Sheriff Bill Leeper, Nassau County Sheriff's Office." Speeding in Nassau County neighborhoods continues to be a problem and these signs will help the Nassau County Sheriff's Office prevent some of the speeding.
