Background:
The annual Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement (EMPG) between Nassau County and the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management, CM3232, provides reimbursable funding assistance for the Emergency Management Assistance Director Position.  For FY 2022-2023, the EMPG Agreement amount is $65,609.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the State of Florida Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement, Contract No. CM3232, and associated attachments, in the amount of $65,609.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
This grant provides the funding source for the Emergency Management Assistant Director position.  Without this grant assistance, Nassau County would be responsible for funding the full cost of the Emergency Management Assistant Director position.
Action Requested and Recommendation:

Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the State of Florida Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement, Contract No. CM3232, and associated attachments, in the amount of $65,609.
