Background:
CM2786-WA17 is a Work Authorization to the agreement between Nassau County and the Florida Governmental Utility Authority for Water and Wastewater Utility Capital Project services approved on December 12, 2019. Work Authorization 17 is to replace seven (7) fire hydrants and three (3) gate valves in the Nassau Amelia Utility distribution system at a cost of $64,503.18. Removal and replacement of fire hydrants and gate valves at the following locations: Sea Marsh Golf Maintenance, FHA #203 Ocean Blvd, FHA #137 Plantation Point, FHA #126 and valve Club Villas, FHA #213 Turtle Dunes, FHA #262 and valve Residence Ct, FHA #275 and valve AIP Chapel, FHA #216
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign CM2786-WA17 for fire hydrants and gate valve replacement in the NAU Distribution System in the amount of $64,503.18.

Fire hydrants provide an essential function in the maintenance of the water system and adequate fire protection for the community.
