Background:

The County is requesting the rezoning of an approximately 0.84-acre parcel from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) to Government/Public Use (GPU) for the construction of a fire station. The property is located on the southeast corner of Hardy Allen Road and Old Nassauville Road in Yulee.

 

At their meeting on August 30, 2022, the Planning and Zoning Board voted unanimously to recommend approval of R22-011.

Request:
Consider R22-011, the rezoning of approximately 0.84 acres, located on the southeast corner of Hardy Allen Road and Old Nassauville Road, from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) to Government/Public Use (GPU). Application filed by Nassau County Board of County Commissioners, Owner and Nassau County Fire Department, Agent. District 2.

Fire stations are funded through a variety of sources including fire rescue impact fees.
