Item Title:Approve a Resolution Extending a State of Local Emergency In Nassau County, Florida

Background:
On September 26, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution 2022-188 which declared a State of Local Emergency in Nassau County ahead of impacts from Hurricane Ian.  As Nassau County continues to recover from effects of Hurricane Ian, staff has determined a need to extend the State of Local emergency for additional seven-day period through October 10, 2022.
Request:
Consider a Resolution extending the State of Local Emergency in Nassau County, Florida for an additional seven-day period through October 10, 2022.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
In order to seek reimbursement for expenditures related to Hurricane Ian, Nassau County must extend the State of Local Emergency while closing out storm related recovery.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Consider a Resolution extending the State of Local Emergency in Nassau County, Florida for an additional seven-day period through October 10, 2022.
