| | | | | | | | | Background: | The Road Department asked for an engineering review of Simmons Road open ditch and guardrail. A safety maintenance project is required to replace guardrail. It was suggested to pipe this stretch of ditch to remove the hazard altogether. The stormwater system will need to be modeled to ensure proper sizing. This project will include a design to also alleviate a localized drainage problem. | | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman sign Contract No. CM2287-WA21 with Peters & Yaffee, to perform Engineering Services for Simmons Road Drainage in the amount of $95,980.67 | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | Professional surveying will ensure the project design accurately reflects the right of way and accurate elevations, and will not require additional funding in future budgets.
