Item Title:	Resolution re: National Youth Sports Week

Background:
National Youth Sports Week is a week-long celebration that promotes the importance of youth sports, athletes, and organizations that serve them. When youth advocates come together to promote the importance of child safety, excellence in coaching, health, and wellness, we inspire a generation to become active, engaged, and fit throughout their lifetimes. Currently, in Nassau County, there are nine (9) youth sports leagues that serve over 1,000 youth annually.
Request:
Consider a Resolution proclaiming the week of October 24-29, 2022, as "National Youth Sports Week."
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Recognizing sports leagues dedicated to the youth of Nassau County serves to bring much needed recognition of the dedication of the volunteers organizing these sports and the lives of the youth involved.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Consider a Resolution proclaiming the week of October 24-29, 2022, as "National Youth Sports Week."
