|A.||Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Federally Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement with the State of Florida, Division of Emergency Management, Contract No. CM2568, for grant funding in the amount of $64,593.|
|B.||Consider the following: 1) approve of the Evaluation Committee’s scoring and ranking for Request for Qualifications (RFQs) received in response to Bid No. NC18-012, SR200/A1A Corridor Design Plan Request; and 2) authorize the Interim County Manager and OMB Director to conduct negotiations with the top ranked firm, GAI Consultants, Inc., and to bring back a final contract for Board approval. |
|C.||Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the 51% letter for distribution of Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program funds within Nassau County.|
|D.||Approve Finance Package 2018-26 and associated Resolutions.|
|E.||Approve Board Minutes from the Special Session held on May 2, 2018; and the Regular and Special Sessions held on May 14 and May 16, 2018.|

|Q.||Consider an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, providing for the levy of an additional five (5) cents of the Local Option Gas Tax upon every gallon of unleaded motor fuel sold in Nassau County and taxed under the provisions of Part I of Chapter 206, Florida Statutes; providing for said tax; providing for the period of time for which the tax shall be imposed; providing for the distribution and utilization of said tax; providing an effective date. |
|R.||Consider an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, Rescinding Ordinance No. 2000-26, and establishing minimum standards governing health and general welfare, as to the maintenance of buildings or structures, providing for a nuisance declaration for buildings or structure in violation of the Ordinance; providing for repair and demolition of buildings declared to be a nuisance; providing for the Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals to conduct hearings and issue orders of repair and demolition; providing severability; providing an effective date.|
Continue consideration of an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, amending Article 37 of the Land Development Code, Natural Resource Protection; specifically rescinding the current Section 37.02, Native Canopy Tree Protection, and adding a new Section 37.02, Amelia Island Tree Protection and Replacement; amending Article 32 of the Land Development Code, Definitions, providing for penalty; providing for enforcement; providing for severability; providing for codification; and providing an effective date.
Continue consideration of an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, amending Section 37.05 of the Land Development Code, Natural Resources Protection; amending the supplemental tree list for landscaping; providing for alternative tree species planting adjacent to utilities; providing for buffer planting detail; amending planting requirements; providing for clarity in the relationship between buffers, utilities and fencing; providing for purpose and intent; providing for severability; providing for codification; and providing an effective date.
|U.||Continue consideration of an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, amending Article 35 of the Land Development Code, State Road 200/A1A Access Management Overlay District, specifically Article 35.09 regarding landscaping changes for consistency with concurrent changes to Article 32 and 37, and updates to twenty-five foot setback requirements; providing for purpose and intent; providing for severability; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. |
|V.||Consider CPA18-007, an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, amending the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan; providing for the reclassification of approximately 1.0 acres of real property located on the south side of SR200/A1A, approximately 2.5 miles east of US 1 from Commercial (COM) to Agriculture (AGR); providing for findings; and providing an effective date.|

Consider R18-009, filed by Robert K. and Elizabeth S. Hogan, owners, and Joshua Stafford, agent for owners, to rezoning approximately 1.01 acres from Commercial General (CG) to Open Rural (OR). Property is located on the south side of State Road 200/A1A, approximately 3 miles west of I-95, Yulee area. Staff recommends approval.
Consider FD18-004, final development plan for the replacement of the existing Amelia Island Plantation Community Center (part of the Amelia Island Plantation Planned Unit Development). The new two (2) story structure will feature a first floor of 6,845 square feet and a second floor of 4,385 square feet, for a total of 11,230 (conditioned) square feet, and will be used for community meetings and gatherings. Property is located at 201 Sea Marsh Road, Amelia Island area. Staff recommends approval.
|Y.||Consideration of a zoning appeal filed by William Murphy, Trust/Owner and Joseph Amellio, agent for owner, appealing the Conditional Use & Variance Board's denial of V18-001, pursuant to Section 29-32 of the Nassau County Code of Laws and Ordinances requiring Davis Road to be paved and constructed in accordance with the Nassau County Roadway and Drainage Standards from Musselwhite Road to approximately the eastern most boundary of Sandy Oaks Lane.|
