		RESOLUTION(S)


	A.	Approve a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, proclaiming March 2018 as "Take Stock in Children Month".


		CONSENT ITEMS – If any board member wishes to move a Consent Item to New Business, please do so now. Does any member of the public want to speak on a Consent Item?


	B.	Approve Finance Package 2018-10.
	C.	Approve Finance Package 2018-11 and associated Resolutions.
	D.	Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a letter to the City of Jacksonville, Mosquito Control Division, granting permission for aerial mosquito spraying within the Amelia Island Mosquito Control District area for the period of May 1, 2018 through April 30, 2019.

	E.	Continue discussion regarding the public-private partnership with the East Nassau Community Planning Area (ENCPA).

	F.	Sheriff's Business - Consider request from the Sheriff for reimbursement of $298,596.78 for costs incurred for Hurricane Irma. Funding Source: 01031582-591910 HIRMA.
	G.	Consider request from Robert Moneyhan for Reduction of Penalty for property located at 85063 Crews Road, Fernandina Beach.
	H.	Consider request from Gene Jones for Reduction of Penalty for property located at 45245 Iris Blvd, Callahan.
	I.	Authorize staff to submit the Sub-Recipient Assessment Tool (SCAT) and Local Agency Program (LAP) Certification Tool forms for the LAP recertification; and authorize the County Manager to sign the Title VI Nondiscrimination Assurance and update the County’s Title VI/Nondiscrimination plan and an ADA/504 Transition Plan.
	J.	Consider the following: 1) award Bid No. NC17-029 to Kudzue 3 Trucking, Inc., and Preferred Materials, Inc., for Asphaltic Concrete - SI, SIII & Millings; and 2) authorize the Chairman to sign contracts CM2523 with Kudzue 3 Trucking, Inc., and CM2524 with Preferred Materials, Inc. Funding Source: 03404541-553010.
	K.	Authorize staff to proceed with an application for the Emergency Watershed Protection Grant for funding related to Phase 9 of the Thomas Creek Desnagging Project and provide the 25% required match (03999599-599001).
	L.	Tax Collector's Business - Approve use of the NewsLeader for advertising of unpaid property taxes.
	M.	Discussion of the Annual Employment Evaluation for Nassau County Manager, Shanea Jones.


		PUBLIC HEARINGS – The following matters under consideration are legislative matters, and the Non-Quasi Judicial Procedures will be utilized for the following: County Attorney to read the procedures.


	N.	Consider an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, amending Ordinance No. 99-02, as amended, which established a Code Enforcement Board; specifically Amending Section XII, Code Enforcement; providing an effective date.
	O.	Consider CPA18-001, an Ordinance amending the Future Land Use Map of the Comprehensive Plan; providing for the reclassification of approximately 6.34 acres of real property located on the east side of US Highway 17 between Leisure Way and Owens Farm Road, from Industrial (IND) and Agriculture (AGR) to Commercial (COM); providing for findings; and providing an effective date.


		PUBLIC HEARINGS – The following matters under consideration are Quasi Judicial matters, and the Quasi Judicial Procedures will be utilized for the following: County Attorney to read the procedures.


	P.	Consider R18-001, filed by Get & Save, LLC, owner, to rezone approximately 2.94 acres from Industrial Warehouse (IW) to Commercial Highway Tourist (CHT). Property is located on the east side of US Highway 17, between Leisure Way and Owens Farm Road, Yulee area. Planning & Zoning Board recommends approval. Staff recommends approval.


		COUNTY MANAGER’S BUSINESS – Any business to come before the Board.


		COUNTY ATTORNEY’S BUSINESS – Any business to come before the Board.


		COUNTY COMMISSION ITEMS – Any business to come before the Board.
