A.

Approve a Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, proclaiming the week of July 28 through August 5, 2018 as "Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week".


PRESENTATIONS – Time limit is fifteen (15) minutes
B.Janice Ancrum, President and CEO of Nassau County Council on Aging regarding joint partnership with the Jacksonville Transit Authority to provide express services between Nassau County and Jacksonville.
C.Commissioner Justin Taylor re: update on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC).

D.Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Amendment No. 3 to the agreement with Trim All Lawn Service, Inc., Contract No. CM2130-A3, for Amelia Concourse Maintenance for the period of August 1, 2018 through July 31, 2019. Funding Source: 47453539-534013.
E.Approve the Evaluation Committee's ranking and scoring for Request for Proposals (RFPs) received in response to Bid No. NC18-011, Audit Services; and authorize staff to begin contact negotiations with the top ranked firm, Purvis Gray & Company. Funding Source: 01001513-532000.
F.

Approve Finance Package 2018-25 and associated Resolutions.

G.Continue discussion regarding the Nassau County Rebranding Project.
H.Continue consideration of setting for public hearing for approval of requests of agencies wanting to become PACE providers in Nassau County, Florida. 
I.Continue discussion regarding the Stewardship District and House Bill 1075.

J.Authorize payment of $4,165.14 to VyStar Credit Union, pursuant to the Economic Development Grant Agreement, Contract No. CM2012. Funding Source: 015522552-582000 EG001.
K.Discuss appraisal for County owned property located at the southwest corner of First Coast Highway and Ron Kolar Way; and receive Board direction regarding request to advertise for bid.
L.Discuss/consider rescheduling the Monday, August 27, 2018 Board Meeting due to the Supervisor of Elections utilizing the Commission Chambers for the Primary Election.
M.Set tentative millage rates and date/time of first public hearing for the FY18-19 budget; and authorize OMB to electronically submit the DR-420s.
PUBLIC HEARINGS – The following matters under consideration are legislative matters, and the Non-Quasi Judicial Procedures will be utilized for the following: County Attorney to read the procedures.
N.Consider an Ordinance of the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, Rescinding Ordinance No. 2000-26, and establishing minimum standards governing health and general welfare, as to the maintenance of buildings or structures, providing for a nuisance declaration for buildings or structure in violation of the Ordinance; providing for repair and demolition of buildings declared to be a nuisance; providing for the Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals to conduct hearings and issue orders of repair and demolition; providing severability; providing an effective date.
PUBLIC HEARINGS – The following matters under consideration are Quasi Judicial matters, and the Quasi Judicial Procedures will be utilized for the following: County Attorney to read the procedures.
O.Consider FD18-003, Final Development Plan for Hampton Lakes PUD (Amelia Walk), Phase 4 filed by McCranie & Associates, Inc., agent, and Greenpointe Holdings, LLC, owners, for construction of 174 single-family residential lots. Property is located on the west side of Amelia Concourse at the south end of Majestic Walk Blvd, Fernandina Beach area.
COUNTY MANAGER’S BUSINESS – Any business to come before the Board.
COUNTY ATTORNEY’S BUSINESS – Any business to come before the Board.
